Although Legia is fighting for the Polish football championship title, Jan Urban ensures that he's not going to belittle the rivalry for the Polish Cup. "The participation in the Polish Cup is very important for my players, because the team which will gain this trophy qualifies for the UEFA Cup. Besides, there are so many clubs in the league which can win the trophy that it's not obvious that Legia can easily promote to the European games. We're in the semi-final and there are not many matches left to win the Polish Cup. That's why we can't pass it up" – said Urban in the press conference.
He expects a good result tomorrow. "Ruch plays hard football and that's why we have to be careful. Nevertheless, we are not afraid of our rival. We have to focus on ourselves and score as many goals as possible" – thinks Legia's coach.
Urban also referred to the club from Chorzów. "They don't have a comfortable situation in the league table and theoretically they could concentrate only on the league matches. However we have to be realists. If you are in the semi-final, you won't pass up the chance to gain the trophy. I remember our last year's triumph in Bełchatów. I really would like to feel those nice moments once again" – said Urban.
