It was obvious that Inaki Descarga wasn't going to stay long at Łazienkowska. That's why the player was given a free hand, so he could look for a new employer. However, Legia's board didn't want to wait until there was an offer for him and, according to the official website, terminated the contract on the basis of the agreement of the parties. Before the termination, Descarga's contract was valid for the next year.

Footballer's presence at Łazienkowska was a misunderstanding. Descarga "shone" in the first place due to his mix-up in a corrupt scandal in Spain. 33-year-old Spaniard played ten matches for Legia (only three in the Ekstraklasa).
