Ivica Vrdoljak, who was Warsaw team’s captain in the season 2010/2011, was chosen then to perform his function by the coach, not by the team. Legia’s coach Maciej Skorża announced that the captain would be chosen through team’s voting this time.

During the introduction of Legia’s lineup for the season 2010/2011 Wojciech Hadaj announced that the new captain of Warsaw team became new midfielder Ivica Vrdoljak.
