Podoliński (Cracovia’s coach): Legia was within our reach
26 lip 2014
The result of the game is its own comment. I regret our hard work, involvement and the fact that we’re not able to focus properly during whole 90 minutes of the match. The beginning of the second half impinges on the result. We lost a very important game and we need to pull ourselves together as quickly as possible. Legia was within our reach. However, this is also a great team and an unguarded moment can be really painful.
Berg (Legia’s coach): We showed character
26 lip 2014
We’re happy about the victory over Cracovian team. I’m glad of my team’s attitude during whole 90 minutes of the game. Not everything was perfect but we showed character, strength and faith that we could win this match.

He cooperated with Korzym during his work in Bełchatów. “This can be one of those footballers who may support the team while a crisis. I believe that he’ll develop. He can play either as an attacker or as a left winger. If so, he would pass then the ball to Bartosz Ślusarski who’s high and to the active Radosław Matusiak” – said Ulatowski.

Legia - Cracovia: videos
16 sie 2009
Cracovia, the team which wasn't able to score any points in the first two league matches, came to Warsaw on Saturday. Although Legia generated a lot of situations to score goals, it didn't manage to defeat the poorer rival. Fortunately, Warsaw supporters didn't let their footballers down and they were trying to galvanise them whole 90 minutes. We encourage you to see videos with loud support of Legia's fans.
Lenczyk: There is glimmer of hope
16 sie 2009
Orest Lenczyk: I succeeded to talk to players and to train with them a little bit. It seems that there is glimmer of hope for my footballers. I don't think that teams which play in Warsaw consider winning of three points. Our performance in the match against Legia was either bad, sometimes simply terrible, or good, sometimes simply brilliant. We made lots of mistakes, there was chaos on the field, however we did our best not to lose this game.
Urban: We hand points too quickly
16 sie 2009
Jan Urban: We wanted to attack Cracovia with pressing, however we had problems with its counterattacks. The away team generated some great situations in the first half. Fortunately, they didn't take advantage of any of them. After the break we were definitely prevailing, but due to the rivals' good defence we weren't able to defeat them. Frankly, we didn't believe that we could lose points in a such match.

Urban: Lenczyk is the most threatening person in Cracovia
14 sie 2009
Legia plays match against Cracovia Cracow on Saturday. Jan Urban is afraid practically only of Orest Lenczyk. “This is a very experienced coach. Probably he’s able to take us by surprise. However we’ll do our best not to let them play on the field. Reshuffle of the coach always musters players’ energies. That’s why we can’t think of Cracovia as if this is a poor team” – thinks Urban.

It required to rehear the case by the Commission of Arbitration of the Polish Olympic Committee.
