Legia is going to test a player from Ghana

According to one of African websites, Legia’s board’s members invited a 17-year-old Asante Kotoko’s midfielder Albert Bruce to two-week tests. The Ghanian flew out away to Poland on Tuesday evening. He will be closely watched by Maciej Skorża and other members of Warsaw team’s coaching staff.
Is Legia interested in an Egyptian player?

According to website 2x45.com.pl, there’s a possibility that Legia will soon be joined by an Egyptian footballer Mohamed Salah who is member of his youth national team. Warsaw team’s coach Maciej Skorża hopes that Legia’s board will buy another offensive player. The mentioned Egyptian could be an alternative for Manú.
Legia interested in Lukas Magera

Legia’s coaching staff is interested in a 195cm high attacker Lukas Magera, who also can play as an offensive midfielder. The footballer has recently played for Romanian Fotbal Club Politehnica Timişoara. 28-year-old player, who has appeared in four games of Czech national team so far, is also closely watched by Górnik Zabrze’s and ŠK Slovan Bratislava’s scouts.

Legia interested in Maor Buzaglo

According to some Israeli media, Legia is interested in a 23-year-old offensive midfielder Maor Buzaglo. The footballer has recently appeared in Maccabi Tel Aviv Football Club. As junior player he used to play for Juventus Football Club and Olympique Lyonnais. Inter Milan and Aston Villa were also interested in the midfielder.

Polish national team is definitely down in the dumps. After a painful 0-6 loss in the game against Spain, our footballers were defeated 3-0 by Cameroon in Szczecin. Eto’o scored two goals for the team from Africa. The last goal was stroke by Vincent Aboubakar. There were three Legia’s players called up for this game, however only Maciej Rybus was given a chance to appear in the match. Warsaw team’s midfielder entered the pitch in the 46th minute.

Polish national team played a friendly game against Bulgaria at Polonia’s stadium in Warsaw on Wednesday. Poland managed to beat 2-0 Bulgarian footballers. The first goal was scored by Jakub Błaszczykowski in the 42nd minute of the match and the second was stroke by Robert Lewandowski seventeen minutes after the break. Legia’s players, Maciej Rybus and Maciej Iwański, were on the pitch for 45 minutes.

Disastrous preliminary competition (World Cup 2010) finished terribly as well. Polish national team lost its last game 0-1 with Slovakia due to Seweryn Gancarczyk’s own goal in the third minute. The match was played in horrible atmospheric conditions. Legia’s Jakub Rzeźniczak and Jan Mucha were on the field whole 90 minutes.
Czech Republic 2-0 Poland

Polish football national team (led by coach Stefan Majewski) lost 0-2 its match against Czech Republic on Saturday. Due to this defeat, Poles don't have even mathematical chances to be qualified to the World Cup 2010 which takes place in South Africa. Czechs were visibly a better team and could lead 1-0 in the 37th minute, however the referee didn't recognise Milan Baros's goal. Both goals were stroke in the second half. Legia's Jakub Rzeźniczak and Maciej Iwański played in the match whole 90 minutes.

Slovenia 3-0 Poland

Polish national team lost 0-3 the match against Slovenia in Maribor. Due to the defeat Poland has only mathematical chances to be promoted to the World Cup 2010 in South Africa. After first half our team was leaving the pitch with two lost goals stroke by Dedic and Novakovic . In the second half Valter Birsa managed to score the third goal for Slovenia. During the game there wasn't any Legia's player present on the field.

Polish national team only drew 1-1 with Northern Ireland (World Cup 2010 preliminary competition) at the Śląski Stadium in Chorzów yesterday. The first goal was scored in the 38th minute by the away team. Its author was Kyle Lafferty. Poles managed to equalise ten minutes before the end of the game thanks to Aaron Hughes's own goal. Although Poland only drew its match, it still has chances to win the promotion to the World Cup 2010 in South Africa.

Legia's goalkeeper, Jan Mucha, has been called up to the Slovakian national team, again. "Muszkin" is one of 22 players who have been called up by coach Vladimir Weiss for September games against Czech Republic and Northern Ireland (World Cup 2010 preliminary competition). For the place in the squad he'll have to compete with Lubos Kamenar from FC Nantes. Thanks to Mucha's good disposition, he has been regularly appearing in the Slovakian national team.

Artur Jędrzejczyk and Adrian Paluchowski have been called up by coach Stefan Majewski to the new-created U-23 Polish national team for the game against Wales. At first, there is going to be a preparatory camp (3.09.-7.09.) in Warsaw. The match takes place on 8th September at 7.30 p.m. at Richmond Park Carmarthen in Wales. Two footballers will be called up when Polish national team’s coach, Leo Beenhakker, chooses the squad for the match Poland – Northern Ireland.
U-21: Call-ups for Borysiuk and Rybus

Ariel Borysiuk and Maciej Rybus are in the wide squad of the Polish youth national team for the preparatory camp which takes place between 30th August and 9th September. From the wide squad coach Andrzej Zamilski will choose 18 players who will participate in the preparatory camp in Grodzisk Wielkopolski. Within the framework of the camp there are going to be two qualifying matches of the UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship (Spain – Poland on 4th September and Poland – Finland on 8th September) played.

Mucha played in Slovakian national team

Legia's goalkeeper, Jan Mucha, played in the friendly match between Iceland and Slovakia. His team which is rival of Poland in the third group of the World Cup 2010 preliminary competition drew 1-1 (0-1). Slovakian footballer defended the goal in the first half. After the break he was replaced by Dusan Pernis.
Three Legia`s players called up for the match against Greece

Jakub Rzeźniczak, Marcin Komorowski and Roger Guerreiro are in the squad for the friendly game against Greece which takes place in Bydgoszcz on 12th August. At first, Jakub Wawrzyniak was also taken into consideration, however due to his disqualification Leo Beenhakker had to remove him from the squad.

Vladimir Weiss, Slovakian national team's coach, has called up Legia's goalkeeper, Jan Mucha, for the friendly game against Iceland. The game takes place on 12th August. Warsaw player will have to compete for the first lineup with MŠK Žilina's Dušan Perniš. This is not the first call-up of "Muszkin". The goalkeeper appears regularly in matches of Slovakian national team.
