Legia finished the Sister Cities Cup organised by American Chicago Fire in third place. In the last match Warsaw footballers defeated 3-0 the host team. There was however a goalless draw after the first half, but due to two goals of Sebastian Szałachowski and one of Maciej Iwański after the break, Legia managed to win this game. The tournament was won by Red Star Belgrade (Serbian: Fudbalski Klub Crvena Zvezda).
