Legia’s footballers were defeated 2-0 in Trabzon by players of the local Turkish club on Thursday evening. Goals were struck by Marc Janko and Olcan Adin. Due to this defeat Warsaw team has no chance to win the promotion to the further stage of the UEFA Europa League competition. There were 123 Legia’s fans who decided to travel to Turkey to see the match.

After losing the chance to play in the group phase of the UEFA Champions League, Legia Warsaw will be fighting in the group stage of the UEFA Europa League. In a draw which took place yesterday Legia was placed in group "J" along with: Società Sportiva Lazio (Italy), Trabzonspor A.Ş. (Turkey) and Apollon Limassol FC (Cyprus).
