In the first fixture of the season 2009/2010 (Młoda Ekstraklasa) Young Zagłębie defeated Young Legia 2-1 (0-0). The first goal was scored by Legia's Wojciech Trochim in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, Zagłębie managed to win the match thanks to Kamil Jackiewicz's and Artur Węska's goals.
