Wisła is in a crisis – this time footballers from Cracow only drew 2-2 with Korona Kielce. The other Cracovian team is in a bad disposition, too – Cracovia didn’t manage to score even a point in six games. Widzew beat 5-2 Śląsk in Łódź. Surprisingly, Arka defeated 1-0 Jagiellonia Białystok. Legia lost the third match in a row – Warsaw players lost 1-2 their game against Zagłębie in Lubin.

Jagiellonia managed to defeat 2-1 Wisła Cracow in Białystok. Polonia Bytom won 2-0 its match against Zagłębie Lubin. Legia didn’t manage to stop its run of bad luck in matches against Ruch Chorzów and lost 0-1 for the third time. Unbelievably Korona Kielce defeated 3-1 Polonia in Warsaw.

Legia managed to defeat 1-0 Śląsk in Wrocław on Friday. Thanks to Sobiech’s and Smolarek’s goals Polonia defeated 2-1 Zagłębie Lubin in Warsaw. Wisła won 1-0 its game against Widzew in Łódź. Lech outclassed Cracovia thanks to its 5-0 victory in Poznań. Eventually, Jagiellonia managed to win 2-1 its match against Lechia in Gdańsk.

In an outstanding game from the first fixture Legia managed to defeat 2-1 Cracovia Cracow. Nevertheless, some Warsaw team’s supporters who gathered at Łazienkowska on Monday could have had a heart attack, because the final goal thanks to which Legia won its game was scored in the last seconds of the match. Polonia defeated 3-0 Legia in the derby game on Friday. There were a lot of goals in Cracow where Śląsk managed to win 3-2 its match against Cracovia. Lech only drew 1-1 with Arka on Saturday. Surprisingly, Ruch beat 2-0 Wisła on Sunday.

After few months footballers returned on Polish pitches. Fixtures of the season 2010/2011 were inaugurated on Friday – GKS Bełchatów defeated 2-0 Polonia Bytom and Górnik Zabrze lost 0-2 with Polonia Warsaw. Widzew Łódź managed to draw 1-1 its match against Lech Poznań. Wisła Cracow won 1-0 its game against Arka Gdynia. Due to the opening of Legia’s new stadium and its friendly match against Arsenal, the game against Cracovia Cracow has been rescheduled to Monday, 16th August.

Lech Poznań became the champion of the season 2009/2010 and is going to play in the qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League. Wisła Cracow and Ruch Chorzów are going to play in the qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League. Legia closed the season with fourth-place finish. Two Silesian clubs have been relegated to the Polish First Division, namely: Piast Gliwice and Odra Wodzisław Śląski.

There were rather no surprises in this fixture of the Ekstraklasa. All leading teams, including Legia, won their games. Lech defeated 1-0 Legia Warsaw in most interested match of 23rd fixture. After a curious goal in added time of 90 minutes, Wisla Cracow managed to win 1-0 its match against Polonia Warsaw. Ruch Chorzów rised to 3rd position in polish league, after draw with Śląsk Wrocław.

Sensationally, there were lots of surprises in the 22nd fixture of the Ekstraklasa. GKS lost 1-3 its match against Zagłębie Lubin in Bełchatów. After a dramatic game Legia managed to win 3-2 over Lechia in Gdańsk. Wisła defeated Polonia Bytom on Saturday, but Lech only drew goalless its match against Odra Wodzisław Śląski on Sunday.

Arka Gdynia defeated 2-0 Cracovia Cracow on Friday. After a problematic penalty Ruch Chorzów managed to win 1-0 its match against GKS Bełchatów. Legia didn’t win its third league game in a row – this time Warsaw players only drew 1-1 with Śląsk Wrocław at Łazienkowska on Saturday. Piast Gliwice and Lech Poznań won their matches on Sunday.

The twentieth fixture of the Ekstraklasa was again full of surprises. Odra won its second game in a row – the team from Wodzisław Śląski defeated 2-0 Piast Gliwice. Wisła is still down in the dumps – the club from Cracow only drew goalless with Jagiellonia. Contrary to Odra, Legia lost the second match in a row. This time, Warsaw team suffered a compromising 0-1 defeat in the game against Polonia Bytom. GKS Bełchatów drew 1-1 with Lech Poznań which is occupying the second position in the league at the moment.

There was a megasensation on Friday – Wisła was defeated 1-0 by Arka Gdynia in Cracow. Lech didn't waste its chance to fight for the Polish championship and won 3-1 its game against Cracovia Cracow in Poznań. Lechia Gdańsk drew goalless with Polonia Warsaw. Legia followed in Wisła's footsteps and was defeated 1-0 by Odra Wodzisław (the weakest team in the league) in Warsaw.

Ekstraklasa’s footballers returned on the pitches after a three-month break. Odra Wodzisław drew goalless with Lechia Gdańsk on Friday. Legia managed to win 2-1 its match against Cracovia Cracow at Hutnik’s stadium, although the team from Warsaw was losing 0-1 and played with just ten men on the field since the 27th minute of the match when Dickson Choto was punished with a red card. Wisła lost 0-1 its game against GKS in Bełchatów on Saturday. Thanks to this defeat Legia is only two points behind the team from Cracow. Lech Poznań defeated 3-0 Polonia in Warsaw on Sunday.

Wisła Cracow defeated 1-0 Zagłębie Lubin, which drew 0-0 with Legia one week ago, in Sosnowiec. Ruch Chorzów won 2-1 with Piast Gliwice in Wodzisław Śląski, and Lech defeated 2-0 Korona Kielce. Due to a better direct balance of the games against Lech Poznań and Ruch Chorzów, this is Legia which occupies the second position in the league table. The team from Warsaw sweated out a one-goal victory over Arka Gdynia on Sunday.

In the first fixture (Ekstraklasa) of the spring round there were some unexpected results achieved – Lech drew 1-1 with Piast in Wronki, and GKS 2-2 with Polonia Bytom in Bełchatów. One match was played much earlier – Arka Gdynia was defeated 2-1 by its "neighbour" from Gdańsk on 25th November. Legia was unable to defeat Zagłębie in Lubin on Friday and only drew 0-0. Ruch lost 1-3 with Wisła on Sunday. Due to this victory, the team from Cracow has five points more in comparison to Legia.

There were two games of the last fixture of the autumn round (Ekstraklasa) played on Friday. Polonia Warsaw defeated 2-1 its namesake from Bytom, and Lech won with Zagłębie Lubin. After a tremendous shot of Maciej Iwański, Legia managed to defeat 1-0 GKS in Bełchatów. Results:

There were some unexpected results in the games of the fourteenth fixture (Ekstraklasa). In a local derby match Legia drew 1-1 with Polonia. Lech managed to defeat 3-1 Ruch Chorzów. There was a sensation on Sunday – Cracovia won 1-0 with Wisła in Sosnowiec!

Autumn football hit between Wisła Cracow and Legia, which was played in Sosnowiec on Friday, finished with 1-0 victory for Warsaw team. In the most interesting match, which took place on Saturday, Lech drew 1-1 with Polonia in Bytom. In Warsaw there also was a sensation, because Cracovia managed to defeat 2-1 Polonia. Fans who gathered in Chorzów on Sunday were able to see seven goals – Ruch defeated 5-2 Jagiellonia.

In the matches, which were played one week ago, footballers of Ekstraklasa’s teams scored overall 17 goals. Seven of them were stroke in Warsaw where Legia managed to defeat 5-2 Korona Kielce. Wisła won its match against Piast 2-1.

Lech is the first team in the league which managed to defeat Wisla Cracow this season. The team from Poznan won 1-0 in Wronki on Sunday. Legia’s players didn’t take advantage of this fact and they only drew 1-1 with Piast in Gliwice on Saturday. GKS Belchatow won 2-0 with Slask Wroclaw on Friday, and Ruch Chorzow, which was the second in the league table after the ninth fixture, consolidated its position due to 1-0 victory over Lechia Gdansk.

Wisła won for the eighth time on Friday, by defeating Śląsk in Wrocław. Ruch defeated Odra in Wodzisław on Saturday, and Legia lost its match in Białystok. Lech drew with Arka on Sunday, and Polonia was beaten 3-1 by Piast Gliwice at Konwiktorska.

Wisła Cracow has won the seventh match this season, defeating 2-1 Polonia Warszawa. Korona was losing two goals in the game against Piast Gliwice, but eventually the team from Kielce managed to win 3-2. One of those goals were stroke by Legia's former player, Aleksandar Vuković. Legia beat 2-0 Lech on Friday. In the two last Sunday games, there was a goalless draw between Śląsk and Ruch, and Polonia Bytom defeated 3-1 Arka Gdynia.

In the seventh fixture of the Ekstraklasa Legia managed to overcome a run of bad luck and defeated 2-0 Lechia Gdansk at Lazienkowska on Friday. Lech won 1-0 with Odra and Ruch defeated 2-0 Cracovia on Saturday. Unexpectedly, Wisla lost its first points this season, drawing 1-1 with Polonia Bytom on Sunday. Results:

Polonia Bytom routed 4-0 Piast Gliwice on Friday. After a poor match, Legia drew 0-0 with Slask in Wrocław on Saturday. After a dramatic game Lech managed to defeat 3-2 Jagiellonia in Białystok. Wisla won the sixth match this season. Results:

After a very poor match, Legia managed to defeat 1-0 Polonia Bytom on Friday. Polonia was surprisingly defeated by Ruch Chorzów on Saturday, finishing the match with nine footballers on the field due to two red cards shown by the referee to Sebastian Przyrowski and Tomasz Jodłowiec. Five games and five victories – this is Wisła's achievement. The team from Cracow defeated 2-1 Jagiellonia. Arka managed to score its first points on Sunday.

Seven games out of eight finished with 1-0 or 0-1 results. Polonia Warsaw was surprisingly defeated by Lechia Gdańsk on Saturday. Legia lost 0-1 with Odra in Wodzisław Śląski on Sunday, and Lech was defeated by Cracovia Cracow. In the second fixture of the Ekstraklasa, Arka was defeated by Legia in Gdynia 0-1. The only goal was scored by Maciej Rybus in the 84th minute of the match. After this game Warsaw team along with Lech, Lechia, Wisła and Polonia Bytom has six points in the league table. There were about 6.000 supporters in the stands (including 250 fans from Warsaw). Śląsk Wrocław wasn't able to give us a surprise and Wisła won the Ekstraklasa. Lech Poznań which had minimal chances to be the first draw 2-2 with Cracovia. Legia took advantage of this fact, defeated 4-1 Ruch Chorzów and finished the Ekstraklasa on the second position. Polonia defeated 1-0 Górnik in Zabrze and will play in the UEFA Europa League. Górnik Zabrze and Cracovia Cracow are relegated to the Polish First Division. Arka Gdynia will have to win playoffs if it wants to stay in the Ekstraklasa.
