Legia drew 0-0 with Cracovia on Saturday. Lech was defeated 4-2 by Polonia at stadium in Wronki. The first place in the league table is occupied by Wisła with nine points. Legia with seven points is second.

There were 13 goals scored in the first two Friday matches of the second fixture (Ekstraklasa)! Lechia defeated Cracovia in Cracow. Footballers of Zagłębie Lubin lost four goals, again. Ruch won 2-0 with Piast and GKS Bełchatów drew 1-1 with Jagiellonia on Saturday. Clubs which represented Poland in the European games had their games on Sunday.

The first fixture of the season 2009/2010 (Ekstraklasa) came to an end. Their games won i.a. Wisła, Lech and Legia. Surprisingly, Polonia was defeated 4-0 by Korona Kielce, the team which has been recently promoted to the highest division. In the derby of Pomerania, Lechia Gdańsk defeated 2-1 Arka Gdynia. Korona and Legia are leaders of the league table due to their 4-0 victories.
