Legia drew 2-2 with Wisła in a fortunate way at Łazienkowska. In the 16th minute Wisła’s Łukasz Burliga scored the first goal for his team. He adroitly outrunned Legia’s goalkeeper and put the football in Legia’s net.

Legia Warszawa smashed Wisła Cracow! In the first half the hosts scored three goals by Michał Żyro, Michał Kucharczyk and Tomasz Jodłowiec. After the change of sides Dossa Junior scored his first goal in Legia. Marek Saganowski struck a team of Cracow in the 79th minute. It was the seventh win in a row.

After a tremendous first half and a terrible second half of the Sunday match Legia’s footballers drew 2-2 with players from Cracow at Łazienkowska. Legia started the game really well – in its second minute Warsaw team’s Miroslav Radović defeated Wisła’s goalkeeper. More than thirty minutes later his first goal for Legia scored Ondrej Duda, who made use of Łukasz Broź’s centre. Moreover, Cracovian team’s player Arkadiusz Głowacki was sent off for an aggressive foul by the referee. After the first forty-five minutes Warsaw team was leading 2-0.

There was an attendance record on Sunday – during the league game against Wisła Cracow there were over 25.000 people in the stands of new Legia’s stadium. Warsaw club’s footballers played a pretty good game and they deservedly defeated 2-0 current Polish football champions Wisła Cracow. The first goal was scored by Danijel Ljuboja in the 24th minute of the game and the final one was struck by Janusz Gol 45 minutes later.

Legia’s footballers managed to defeat 2-0 the new Polish football champion Wisła Cracow. There were more than 19.000 people in the stands. Warsaw team’s supporters protested throughout the game against the policy of the government and its decisions of closing stadiums and not letting Polish supporters travel to other cities to see their team’s games. To deride Polish politicians, they invited well known Krzysztof Kononowicz, who is trying to become a famous and important politician and who was presenting his election programme during the game.

According to some Bulgarian media, Wisła and Legia are interested in Aleksandar Tonev. Envoys of both Polish clubs were present in the match between Serbian and Bulgarian youth national teams to watch the footballer closely. Tonev is PFC CSKA Sofia’s 21-year-old offensive midfielder.

According to sports.pl, Legia and Wisła are interested in gaining Dynamo Moscow’s (Russian: Динамо Москва) defender, Marcin Kowalczyk. 25-year-old player who came to Russia from GKS Bełchatów three years ago has appeared six times in Polish national team so far. His contract expires at the end of this year. That’s why this is possible to sign with him an appropriate agreement in July.

Legia only drew 2-2 with GKS Bełchatów at Łazienkowska on Saturday and didn't take advantage of Ruch's defeat. The team from Chorzów lost 0-3 with Korona in Kielce. If Legia had won its match, it would have been qualified to the UEFA Europa League. The tie means that these are Ruch's players who are going to play in the European games. The team from Warsaw closes the season with fourth-place finish. The last game was watched by nearly two thousand fans.

Legia lost 0-3 its match against Wisła Cracow in a discreditable way. Moreover, if players from Cracow had taken advantage of a great number of their situations to score goals, Legia could have lost even 0-6 or 0-7. Wisła’s Paweł Brożek scored a hat-trick. There were about 4500 people in the stands.

Legia was defeated 1-0 by Lech in Poznań. Due to this defeat (and simultaneous Wisła’s victory over Polonia) Warsaw footballers practically lost their chance to win the Polish championship title. The only goal was scored by Lech’s Stilić in the 76th minute of the match. If Legia’s goalkeeper, Jan Mucha, hadn’t been saving his goal effectively, Warsaw team would have probably lost much higher.

Warsaw team's players managed to defeat 1-0 Wisła Cracow at Zagłębie's stadium in Sosnowiec yesterday. The only goal was scored by Miroslav Radović in the 34th minute of the game. Thanks to this victory Legia is only four points behind the leading this year's champions. Janczyk may return to Poland

It can't be excluded that Dawid Janczyk returns soon to Poland. Wisła Cracow and GKS Bełchatów are interested in 22-year old attacker who was sold by Legia to CSKA Moscow. Legia bought Janczyk from Sandecja Nowy Sącz for less than 100.000 PLN. The sum of transfer to CSKA amounted 4.1 million euro. According to "Przegląd Sportowy", 2.9 million euro was transferred into Legia's account for this transfer. 1.2 million euro consumed commissions for managers.

Lech won the Polish Supercup

Lech managed to win the Polish Supercup. The team from Poznań defeated Wisła Cracow 4-3 after a penalty shootout at Zagłębie Lubin's stadium. After 90 minutes Lech was drawing with Wisła 1-1. The first goal was scored in the 9th minute by Lech's Robert Lewandowski. Junior Díaz from Wisła equalised in the 37th minute. In accordance with regulations, there was no extra-time after the match, but penalties at once. Those were executed more effectively by footballers from Poznań.
Match against Cracovia in Bytom?

In the third fixture Legia plays match against Cracovia Cracow at Łazienkowska. However, the question is where the return match is going to take place. Probably at Polonia Bytom’s stadium at Olimpijska. Building of new Cracovia’s stadium begins this month and that’s why Cracow club will have to look for a place to play matches as host. At first, stadiums of Hutnik Cracow and Zagłębie Sosnowiec were taken into consideration, but this is well known now that Cracovia won’t be play there.
Skaba to Polonia Bytom?

"Wojciech Skaba is a candidate to be Polonia’s footballer" – confirmed Damian Bartyla, the president of the Bytom club in an interview for "Gazeta Wyborcza". Polonia is trying to gain Wisła’s goalkeeper, Ilie Celeban, but the Cracow club needed the Moldavian for the Champions League qualifying match. If Polonia’s board comes to an understanding with Legia, it’ll give up on Wisła’s goalkeeper.

"We have a great opportunity to get the pick of the basket. However it's up to us if we are able to do it" – said Jan Urban at press conference. "I am not nervous. We'll be trying to make up for the negative result from the first match against Ruch. I know that my team would really like to play in the final. I believe that they can do it! I will try to form the lineup so that it doesn't have a great influence on the game against Wisła on Sunday. It's possible then that we will have to play in the extra time on Thursday" – said Urban.

"Now when I enter the football pitch, I am not as stressed as I used to be. At best I feel positive stress" – said Ariel Borysiuk in an interview for Polska. The player will be probably chosen by Jan Urban to the first lineup for the match against Wisła. "There are some thoughts about this game, its course and tactics, but we are trying to be aware of the fact that we still have match against Ruch in Chorzów on Thursday. This is also a very important game" – added Borysiuk.

No tickets for the Sunday’s match against Wisła

There are no tickets left for the match against Wisła in Cracow on Sunday. They were sold out within a few hours. Fans of Legia won't be able to see the game, because from the beginning of the spring round any visitors are admitted to the stadium. Such situation is a result of building new stadium at Reymonta. The most expensive tickets cost 55 PLN. It is obvious then that the Sunday's game will watch the full house of supporters.
