In a charity game organised for Wojtek, one of Legia’s supporters who’s very ill and who managed to create friendship between fans from Warsaw and Hague twenty-five years ago, players from the capital of Poland defeated 1-0 Dutch footballers. The only goal was stroke in the 38th minute of the match by Marcin Komorowski. Few players who are being tested by Legia’s coaching staff appeared in the match: Fall Mouhamadou, Osama Elsamni and Ahmed Toure. After Legia’s three defeats in a row there were very few fans who believed that Warsaw team could achieve success in the match against Lech Poznań on Friday. Doubts of Legia’s fans were justified because thanks to a tremendous shot of Lech’s Siergiej Kriwiec in the 10th minute of the game the team from Poznań was leading 1-0. 1.400 Lech’s supporters who decided to visit the capital of Poland simply burst with joy.

Footballers of Young Legia drew 1-1 with Young Zagłębie Lubin (Młoda Ekstraklasa) on Sunday. The first half ended with a 0-0 draw, although Zagłębie’s Adrian Błąd managed to put the ball in Szumski’s goal. The referee saw however that there was an offside and adequately didn’t count the goal.

Legia Warsaw lost its fourth match this season (out of total six). This time footballers from Warsaw weren’t able to defeat Zagłębie Lubin. Although the first half ended with a 0-0 draw, this was only worse after the break. At first, Dawid Plizga managed to score a goal in the 55th minute of the game, and then, twenty four minutes later, Zagłębie’s Kędziora defeated Machnowskij for the second time. This is however believed that the second goal shouldn’t be counted, because during the goal action the ball got outside the sideline. Footballers of Young Legia were defeated for the first time this season (Młoda Ekstraklasa). In the game which took place in Legionowo Young Ruch’s players managed to win 1-0. The only goal was scored in 84th minute by Patryk Stefański. Five players from Legia’s senior squad appeared in the match: Inaki Astiz, Ariel Borysiuk, Miroslav Radović, Tomasz Kiełbowicz and Piotr Giza. After two victories in a row (with Cracovia and Śląsk) Legia’s players didn’t manage to win their game against footballers from Bełchatów on Friday. Thanks to two goals of GKS’s Marcin Żewłakow in the 11th and 39th minute of the game Warsaw team had to reconcile itself to the defeat. Footballers of Legia managed to defeat 1-0 Śląsk in Wrocław on Friday. The only goal was scored thanks to a tremendous shot of Warsaw team’s Maciej Rybus in the 81st minute of the match. Earlier that evening Legia’s Takesure Chinyama should have stroke a goal, but his shot turned out to be a terrible muff. In an outstanding game from the first fixture Legia managed to defeat 2-1 Cracovia Cracow. Nevertheless, some Warsaw team’s supporters who gathered at Łazienkowska on Monday could have had a heart attack, because the final goal thanks to which Legia won its game was scored in the last seconds of the match. Footballers of Young Legia managed to defeat 2-1 players of Young Polonia (Młoda Ekstraklasa) in Legionowo, although they were losing 0-1 after the first half. Due to a friendly game against FC Arsenal last Saturday, Legia played its first match in the league against its local rival on Friday evening. Unfortunately, the lineup chosen by Maciej Skorża, didn’t succeed at all. Footballers from Ujazdów were beaten 3-0 by the team from Muranów. All goals were scored in the second half. There were about 5.000 Polonia’s supporters in the stands. Legia’s fans didn’t come to the stadium at Konwiktorska, because in their opinion they weren’t given enough tickets. There was an official introduction of Legia’s players and their coaching staff at 9 p.m. on Thursday. There were about 10.000 fans in the stands of the new stadium. Supporters started to sing some Legia’s hits long before the beginning of the introduction. They also unfurled a giant flag with Warsaw club’s emblem from the year 1957. In the last match of season 2009/2010 footballers of Young Legia only drew 1-1 with Young Cracovia’s players (Młoda Ekstraklasa). After the first half there was a goalless draw. The first goal was scored by Young Cracovia’s Bartosz Tomczuk ten minutes before the end of the game. Fortunately, Young Legia’s Dominik Furman executed properly a penalty and Warsaw club managed to equalise in the last minute.

Footballers of Young Legia managed to defeat 3-0 players of Young Polonia (Młoda Ekstraklasa). Both teams had to finish the match with only ten men on the field – Polonia’s Krystian Feciuch was punished with a red card in the 88th minute of the game, and Legia’s Bartosz Widejko had to leave the pitch in the 90th minute of the match as a result of the second yellow card.

Legia finished the Sister Cities Cup organised by American Chicago Fire in third place. In the last match Warsaw footballers defeated 3-0 the host team. There was however a goalless draw after the first half, but due to two goals of Sebastian Szałachowski and one of Maciej Iwański after the break, Legia managed to win this game. The tournament was won by Red Star Belgrade (Serbian: Fudbalski Klub Crvena Zvezda).

Jagiellonia Białystok managed to defeat 1-0 Pogoń Szczecin at Zawisza's stadium in Bydgoszcz and for the first time in its history won the Polish Cup. The only goal was scored by Andrius Skerla four minutes after the beginning of the game's second half. There were about 7.000 Pogoń's and Legia's supporters altogether and 4.500 fans of Jagiellonia in the stands. Legia only drew 2-2 with GKS Bełchatów at Łazienkowska on Saturday and didn't take advantage of Ruch's defeat. The team from Chorzów lost 0-3 with Korona in Kielce. If Legia had won its match, it would have been qualified to the UEFA Europa League. The tie means that these are Ruch's players who are going to play in the European games. The team from Warsaw closes the season with fourth-place finish. The last game was watched by nearly two thousand fans.

Legia was defeated 1-0 by Polonia at Konwiktorska on Tuesday. This is the first Legia's defeat in a league derby match after 60 years! The only goal was scored by Polonia’s Andreu Mayoral in the 24th minute of the game. Moreover, Legia could and honestly should have lost much higher. No one knows what would have happened on the pitch if Jan Mucha hadn't been playing well in this match. There were sixteen Legia's fans in the stand designated for away team's supporters. Footballers of Young Legia were defeated by Young Wisła’s players at Reymonta (Młoda Ekstraklasa). Although footballers from Warsaw were leading 1-0 to the 84th minute of the match, they eventually lost 1-2. What’s interesting is the fact that Warsaw goalkeeper, Jakub Szumski, was defeated by… Young Wisła’s goalkeeper, Łukasz Jarosiński.

Legia lost 0-3 its match against Wisła Cracow in a discreditable way. Moreover, if players from Cracow had taken advantage of a great number of their situations to score goals, Legia could have lost even 0-6 or 0-7. Wisła’s Paweł Brożek scored a hat-trick. Players of Young Legia defeated 2-1 footballers of Young Ruch Chorzów (Młoda Ekstraklasa). After the first half Ruch was leading 1-0, but thanks to Banasiak’s and Kosecki’s goals in the second half Legia managed to win the game.

Legia was defeated 1-0 by Ruch in Chorzów. The only goal scored Arkadiusz Piech in 46th minute. Just before the break, in 42nd minute Dickson Choto got injured and had to leave the pitch. There were about 9.500 supporters in the stands. See the photo-report

Due to the recent tragedy of Polish presidential plane near Smoleńsk in Russia and the fact that coffins with bodies of the victims have been transported to Torwar, Legia had to play its match against Jagiellonia at Polonia΄s stadium. No one was able to enter the stadium at Konwiktorska 6 in Warsaw. Fortunately, Legia managed to defeat 2-1 the team from Białystok. The first goal was scored by Tomasz Kiełbowicz in the 5th minute of the game. Thirty minutes later Legia΄s Bartłomiej Grzelak stroke the second goal for Warsaw club.

Legia was defeated 1-0 by Lech in Poznań. Due to this defeat (and simultaneous Wisła’s victory over Polonia) Warsaw footballers practically lost their chance to win the Polish championship title. The only goal was scored by Lech’s Stilić in the 76th minute of the match. If Legia’s goalkeeper, Jan Mucha, hadn’t been saving his goal effectively, Warsaw team would have probably lost much higher.

After a lot of drama on the field Legia managed to beat 3-2 Lechia in Gdańsk on Friday, although the team from Warsaw was losing 0-2 after first ten minutes of the game. This is hard to believe, but Warsaw footballers managed to win 3-2 their match against Lechia, although the team from Gdańsk was leading 2-0! The first goal was scored by Lechia’s Paweł Nowak in the first minute of the game. Nine minutes later Lechia’s Hubert Wołąkiewicz properly executed a penalty and Legia was losing 0-2. Fortunately, thirteen minutes before the end of the first half Legia’s Maciej Rybus managed to score a goal and Warsaw club was losing just 1-2.

Eventually, after four matches without victory, Legia managed to defeat its opponent. Unfortunately this wasn’t enough to win the promotion to the Polish Cup’s semifinal, because Ruch stroke a goal at Łazienkowska. The team from Chorzów won on away goals. Although Legia's players managed to win 2-1 the second leg of the Polish Cup's quarterfinal against Ruch, this is the team from Chorzów which has been promoted to the semifinal. Due to Warsaw team's defeat (0-1) last Tuesday, Ruch Chorzów managed to win the competition on away goals.

After Legia’s three defeats in a row there were approximately 3.000 people in the stands at Łazienkowska on Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately, Stefan Białas’s footballers weren’t able to win the match for the fourth time. Warsaw team only drew 1-1 with Śląsk Wrocław and that’s why its supporters left the stadium in a very bad mood.
